In a world full of machines, there are some people who still like to do it all by themselves.

I personally love DIYers, and I am here to make their work super easy.

I am here to explain some of the most common use saws, which every DIYer should know about. If you are interested, keep on reading!

1. Hand Saw

The most commonly used saw is a hand saw because when you are using it, you are not bound to cut in a specific way.

You can cut the desired material however you want to. Most of the hand saws are versatile; hence you can cut in different ways and scenarios, so that’s a plus point.

If you are new in the world of DIYs, I would highly recommend you start with your journey with a typical hand saw.

2. Bow Saw

The name of this saw gives a very clear idea of the shape of this saw. It looks like a bow with a blade attached to it.

This saw is best for cutting wood. If you are looking for a saw to cut green or wet wood, this might be the one. It can also be used by gardeners for cutting or pruning the tree.

3. Crosscut Saw

A crosscut saw is ideal for many projects. This versatile saw is mostly used to cut the wood perpendicular to the wood grain.

A crosscut saw is available in a variety of sizes. The larger ones are best for coarse woodworks. This saw is loved by DIYers due to its cutting ability and sharpness.

4. Folding Saw

As the name explains that this saw is folding, which means it takes up less space and it is portable. You can take this saw while you are on the go.

These are mostly used for campers and trekkers. So, if you are someone who is always on the good and needs a saw, this one’s it.

One con is that it might not be as powerful as others, but it gets the job done.

Wrapping it up

I have briefly described some of the most commonly used saws that every DIYer should know about.

I hope this article helped you and made things clear for you. I have tried my best to briefly explain all of the essential information.

I really hope it helped!
